Green seal Certification
The Green seal certification noted: "If all windows and patio doors in the US. were as energy efficient as those made by Andersen Windows, we would save up to 2.5% of the annual U.S. energy consumption."
Renewal by Andesen® is the only replacement window company to be Green Seal Certified.
Revolutionary Fibrex® material helps set our windows apart. This breakthrough composite combines the strength and stability of wood with the low-maintenance features of vinyl. Fibrex material is a blend of wood fiber and a specially formulated thermoplastic polymer that's resistant to changes in temperature, contracting minimally in heat or cold. That means it's also resistant to bowing and cracking, conditions that lead to air and water infiltration. Fibrex material is also an excellent insulator preventing heat or cold transfer into or out of your home. What's more, Fibrex material resists decay and prevents future rot*, so you'll never have to scrape or paint. Not only is Fibrex® material a high performance material, but we conserve raw materials when we make it. All of the wood fibers used in the compounding process, as well as some of the thermoplastic polymer, are reclaimed directly from the 65-acre Andersen Corporation manufacturing plant operations in Bayport, Minnesota.

2 Step Process
1. Photocatalytic Process
Sunlight activates coating and loosens dirt, dust and organic material2. Hydrophilic Process
Activated coating causes water droplets to spread out across the glass surface, washing away dirt, dust and organic material
When active, High Performance™ Low-E4™ glass reduces dirt build-up, dries faster and reduces water spotting by up to 99%.*
You may not be able to see the difference in the glass we design, but we promise you'll feel it. Renewal by Andersen uses High-Performance™ (Low-E) glass as standard in every window we build. This microscopically thin, metallic coating on the inner surface restricts the flow of radiant heat, helping keep your home warmer in winter and cooler in summer. It helps reduce ultraviolet and visible rays, while providing a clear, non-tinted view.
Our glass also uses a patented, low-conductivity spacer made of stainless steel that resists heat transfer much more effectively than the aluminum spacers used by many other manufacturers. An Argon gas blend is sealed between the glass to help inhibit the transfer of energy (heat or cold).
